Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Ideas Barrel Company ("Ideas Barrel", "we", "us", "our"), handles information in connection with the games we publish on any platform (each a "Game", together the "Games"), and their online features, in-game stores, updates and support (together, the "Services"). Where we decide why and how personal information is processed through the Services, we are its controller.

Our Games differ from each other. This policy covers the full range of what a Game may include, and a section about a feature applies only where a Game offers that feature.

This policy does not cover third-party services, such as app stores, platforms or advertisers, which have their own policies. Our Terms of Use also apply.

• Information you give us, such as a display name or profile choices, messages you send other players where a Game allows it, reports, feedback, and support requests including your email address.
• Gameplay information, such as progress, scores, rankings, match results, in-game currency and items, settings, and how you use the Game.
• Device information, such as device type, operating system, app version, language, region, device and advertising identifiers, IP address and approximate location derived from it, and crash and performance data.
• Purchase information, such as what you bought, when, and whether a purchase or subscription is valid. Payments are processed by the app store; we do not receive your payment card details or store account password.
• Information from others, such as app stores, platforms, service providers, advertising partners and other players.

We use information to:

• provide the Services, including saving progress, delivering and restoring purchases, online play, rankings and events;
• provide support and communicate with you;
• keep the Services fair and secure, including verifying purchases and preventing cheating, fraud and abuse;
• maintain, analyse and improve the Services, and personalise content and offers;
• show advertising, where a Game includes it (section 4);
• send notifications you have allowed;
• comply with law and protect the rights and safety of players and us.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you for any purpose.

Legal bases (EEA, UK and similar laws). We rely on performance of our contract with you to provide the Services; on our legitimate interests for security, fraud prevention, analytics and improvement; on your consent for personalised advertising, notifications and where else the law requires it; and on legal obligation where the law requires us to process information. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Some Games show ads, which may be personalised. Ads are provided by third-party advertising partners, including Google, which may collect information directly through the Game under their own privacy policies (how Google uses this information). Where the law or your device platform requires it, we ask for your consent or permission before ads are personalised, and you can change your choices in the Game's settings, where offered, or in your device settings. We are not responsible for ads, advertisers or advertising partners.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only:

• with service providers that help us operate the Services, under contract;
• with app stores and platforms, to process and verify purchases and provide platform features;
• with advertising partners, where a Game shows ads;
• with other players, who can see your display name, profile, rankings and results when you play online;
• where we believe it is required by law or necessary to prevent fraud or harm, enforce our Terms, or protect anyone's rights or safety;
• in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business;
• with your consent.

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, including to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our Terms, and then delete or de-identify it.

We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee its security. You are responsible for keeping your device and accounts secure. Information may be processed in countries other than yours, which may have different data protection laws; where required, we use appropriate safeguards.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and targeted advertising as some US state laws define them; to appeal a decision on your request; and to complain to your data protection authority.

To exercise these rights, use the controls in the Game where available or write to [email protected], including your player ID where the Game shows one. You do not need to reinstall a Game to ask us to delete your data. We may need to verify your request, and we may decline it where the law allows.

Deleting a Game profile permanently removes the progress and items associated with it. It does not cancel a subscription, which you manage with the app store.

Our Games are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or the higher age required where they live, without the consent the law requires. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy. We will post the updated version here and change the "Last updated" date, and give notice where the law requires. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept it, to the extent the law allows.
